ANNUAL ESSAY CONTEST
Our Annual Essay Contest is underway again! This year’s topic is “How Optimism Paved My Road to Success”. Essays must be between 700 and 800 words, and must be submitted by Monday, January 13th, 2025. First place wins $150, Second place $100 and third place $50. Open to middle and high school students under the age of 19.
ANNUAL oratorical contest
It is that time of the year again - the annual Mukwonago Optimist Oratorical Contest is now on! The topic for the 2024-2025 school year is "How Optimism Has Guided me Through Trying Times." The contest is open to any contestant under the age of 19. The first place winner will receive $150, the second place $100 and the third place winner $50. Interested youth should prepare a 4-5 minute speech on the assigned topic to be presented on February 25th, 2025 at the Mukwonago Library in front of a panel of 3 judges. Contestants must submit an entry form no later than February 19th, 2025.
